UGo NightRide Shuttle Service Changes Starting July 1

The University’s Department of Safety and Security (DSS) recently conducted a campus-wide transportation survey to better understand and respond to the needs of our community. One of the findings of this survey, backed by usage data, showed virtually no demand for the UGo shuttles after midnight.

As a result, the following changes will take effect starting Tuesday, July 1, 2025:

  • UGo NightRide shuttle service will end at 12 a.m. (midnight) across all routes.
  • Most NightRide routes will operate at 15-minute intervals from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and then 30-minute intervals until 12 a.m.
  • The South Route shuttle will operate at 30-minute intervals for the duration of service.
  • The Regents Express and South Loop routes will not change.
