July 11, 2025By Human Resources

All members of the UChicago community are invited to join the UChicago and UChicago Medicine's Disability Inclusion Resource Group (DIRG) in celebrating the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) at the Chicago Disability Pride Parade. The theme of this year’s parade is “35 Years of the ADA: Still Rising, Still Thriving!”

The parade will be held on Saturday, July 26 starting at 11 a.m. The parade begins at 401 S. Plymouth Court (in downtown Chicago), goes west on Van Buren, then north on Dearborn, and ends at Daley Plaza for post-parade festivities. For more information on the parade, please visit the Disability Pride Parade website.

To participate with other members of the UChicago community, please complete the online interest form to register. Participants who register in advance will receive a DIRG T-shirt to wear at the parade.
