BuySite Has Been Retired—Data Remains Available

BuySite, the University of Chicago's former eProcurement system, was temporarily kept online in a view-only state after the University replaced it with UChicago’s Oracle system on July 1, 2024. After the system transition period was completed, BuySite was taken offline on May 20, 2025.

BuySite data remains accessible in a comprehensive data archive, which contains all transaction details, such as headers, line-item entries, Financial Accounting System accounts, and attachments. If you need historical data (e.g., purchase orders, invoices) from BuySite, please submit a Document Request ticket.
