New Guest Wireless Self-Registration Portal

IT Services will launch a new University Guest Wireless Self-Registration portal on Thursday, July 17.

The University of Chicago provides wireless network access to faculty, students, researchers, staff, and guests on campus. This new portal will allow guests to independently create single-day Wi-Fi accounts on the UChicago-Guest network.

Faculty and staff will continue to have the option to sponsor guest network access and Trusted Agents will retain their current enhanced ability to provide access for groups and for extended periods. The self-registration feature is designed to complement these options by offering a quick and user-friendly alternative for short-term guests.
