Prefer to chat face-to-face? The TechBar in the Regenstein Library is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday during the academic year.
School and Division IT Offices
There is local IT support in units across the University. If you are unsure about your local IT support contacts, IT Services can direct you to the right person.
System Status
The UChicago System Status allows you to check on systems managed by IT Services and subscribe to email updates.

- Monday–Friday: 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
- There is emergency phone support available outside of regular hours.
- Closed on University Holidays.

- Monday–Friday: 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

- Equipment LendingEquipment is available free of charge to currently registered faculty, students, and staff. View the list of available equipment and more details about the lending process.
- TrainingSkill development training resources for staff are available within the IT Services Knowledge Base, Gartner, and LinkedIn Learning. Training for instructors is offered by Academic Technology Solutions.
- Desktop SupportIT Services provides desktop support to many units at the University. Learn more and get support for your managed computer.
