Be Well UChicago

Welcome to WellRight

Be Well UChicago by WellRight is the University’s wellness incentive program for employees eligible for medical plans. The voluntary program offers a variety of resources in addition to an interactive, personalized dashboard and mobile app with challenges related to health and wellness, including physical, emotional, occupational, social, and purpose. Be Well UChicago includes educational modules and easy tracking of baseline activities like annual physicals, preventive care exams, daily steps and movement, and even activities like volunteer hours and the completion of diversity and inclusion courses.

Employees will have the option to sync their own fitness devices (such as Fitbits and Apple Watches) and create their own personal and peer-to-peer challenges, either creating their own goals from scratch or choosing from hundreds of ideas like limiting cell phone use, eating healthy meals, saying thank you, reading books, and more.

Earn Points You Can Redeem For $$$

For each activity successfully completed, employees earn points that can be redeemed for various merchant gift cards worth up to $100 annually. The online dashboard offers real-time progress on your points achievement levels, which include Maroon (2,500 points, $25 gift card), The Midway (5,000 points, $50 gift card), or Phoenix (10,000 points, $100 gift card).

The UChicago Benefits Office will periodically include reminders of quarterly and annual goals, deadlines for redeeming points, and other updates through various communications including in the UChicago Citizen newsletter and on the UChicago Intranet. Plus, once registered, employees will also receive direct email communications from WellRight, the vendor for Be Well UChicago.
