Chadha has worked at the Center in Delhi for just over seven years, where she is responsible for ensuring the Center complies with all relevant and applicable laws, serves as the link between the Center and its Board of Directors, and handles regulatory filings such as annual returns, financial statements, and various other forms required by India’s Registrar of Companies.

Q: What is your favorite lunch spot when you’re at work? 

Lunch with my colleagues in the Office Pantry with friendly gossip, leg-pulling jokes, amazing food, and knowledge sharing.

Q: What is one thing about Delhi that you would like someone who has never visited to know?

Q: How does your role interact with UChicago’s main campus in Hyde Park?

The Center’s Board of Directors and shareholders are based out of the main campus in Hyde Park. I make sure all the Board procedures are both followed and regularly reviewed, and I also provide guidance to the directors on their responsibilities under various Indian Laws.
