About the Intranet
The UChicago Intranet is a new online internal platform for faculty, OAAs, and staff, designed to provide University resources, tools, applications, events, news, and announcements in one place. Consider it your new go-to spot to stay connected with UChicago.
The UChicago Intranet was developed using faculty and staff input and feedback. It offers several features, including two customized views, one for faculty and other academic appointees and another for staff; improved search capabilities; the ability to personalize your home page and “favorite” the pages and applications you use most; a directory of University tools and applications; and pages for the University’s schools and divisions. The platform is also password protected to make internal content more secure, and it offers single sign-on – meaning once you log in, you don’t need to log in again to access most other University password-protected content and tools. It is also mobile friendly. It is currently in its first phase, with plans to add more features and capabilities over time.
