- Diverse Books & Open Conversations
This University of Chicago Library reading group brings together UChicago and Hyde Park community members to read the same book and engage in dialogue. We aim to foster engagement in critical conversations around diversity and inclusion, and strive to enhance the campus climate and build community through a shared experience.
- Reg Reads
Reg Reads is a small collection of recently published popular fiction and non-fiction on the 1st Floor of Regenstein Library. Unlike other collections in the Library, Reg Reads is designed for recreational reading, not for coursework, research, or scholarship.
- Seminary Coop & 57th Street Books
The Seminary Co-op Bookstores, Inc. comprises two independent bookstores. Founded in 1961 and located in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood, the Seminary Co-op is renowned as an exemplary academic bookstore. 57th St. Books was established in 1983 and caters to the literary interests of the greater South Side community.
