What is the UChicago Recognition Hub?

The UChicago Recognition Hub is the University of Chicago's employee recognition and engagement platform operated by Awardco. All benefits-eligible staff employees have access to send real-time notes of appreciation to their colleagues using the platform. These simple acts of kindness and gestures of recognition can positively impact employee morale, engagement, and a sense of belonging. Staff also receive messages on their birthdays and service anniversaries. Staff can help celebrate their colleagues' service anniversaries by adding comments or reactions on the feed. Any staff employee reaching a milestone service anniversary starting at five years—and each five-year increment after that (e.g., 10, 15, 20, etc.)—will receive points that they can redeem through the platform for UChicago branded merchandise or items of their choosing from a curated Amazon store. Managers are notified of upcoming service anniversaries for members of their teams.

Please note that all interaction on the UChicago Recognition Hub are subject to all University of Chicago policies including Policy 104 – Business Conduct.
