Connecting with other Systems
Connecting With Other Systems
Oracle Cloud ERP will replace the University’s mainframe-based financial account system (FAS) as a part of the Financial Systems Transformation (FST) Program. Moving to Oracle will impact many ancillary systems that have been used alongside FAS to support financial and operational needs at the University. Critical work has been done to determine which of these systems will be maintained and which systems will be retired due to the functionality provided by Oracle.
Retrofits and Integrations
As a part of the FST Program, more than 30 University systems used for financial administration and reporting operations will be retrofitted in order for them to be integrated with Oracle Cloud ERP. The retrofit work is integral to the FST program, which will require more than 100 integrations in all. FST will also coordinate with other initiatives and systems, including Workday, the academic information system, and Alumni Relations and Development’s upgrade of Griffin. These initiatives are designed to dramatically improve comprehensive financial reporting and analysis across the University. For more information about retrofits, click here.
