Our Units
The combined goal of each unit is to make Facilities Services staff more effective and better equipped to deliver quality services to the campus community and to enhance and maintain a work environment of collaboration, accountability, and responsiveness.
Capital Project Delivery
Capital Project Delivery (CPD) manages the University’s design and construction projects, including new facilities, renovations and the campus environment. Project management begins with programming and design and continues through completion of the construction phase. CPD works closely with Facilities Operations to transition each construction project to a successfully operating space for our University clients.
Campus Planning + Sustainability
Campus Planning + Sustainability (CP+S) manages the University’s campus planning, feasibility studies, exterior environment and landscape design, and sustainability strategy and engagement. CP+S also leads the capital planning process and oversees strategies to protect and adapt our heritage resources and enhance accessibility. This includes IT Business Applications, which ensures all units within Facilities Services receive the necessary support.
Facilities Operations
Facilities Operations consists of Building Services, Campus Properties, Campus and Residential Services, Operations and Maintenance, Engineering and Utilities, Maintenance Program Services, and Residential Properties. Our unit works to ensure safe, attractive, and well-functioning facilities for the campus and its visitors.
Finance and Business Services
Finance and Business Services is the business administrative group within FS. The team is responsible for ensuring that all units with FS receive effective support in their business operations needs; that we engage with the community, minority and women-owned businesses in carrying out the work of FS; and that we comply with University and government(al) policies as we serve as stewards of the University’s resources.
