In case of emergency construction site incidents, please call University police at 773.702.8181 or 911.
For non-emergency construction site incidents please call 773.834.2020 and report as much detail as possible.
You will receive acknowledgment of your report within 48 hours.
We work closely with our partners in UChicago Medicine, the Office of Civic Engagement, Transportation and Parking, the Registrar’s Office, and Safety and Security to coordinate the impact of construction work on students, colleagues, and neighbors. In addition, we provide updates on construction activities to the campus community on a regular basis particularly when there are needed roadway or lane closures and if pedestrian walkways require rerouting.
