Student Printing
Students can use the Printing Web Portal to print to locations in the Libraries and Residence Halls. For additional information specific to Student Printing, see the Student Printing Web Portal article in the Knowledgebase.
Library Visitor Printing
Registered Library visitors can print by purchasing a visitor printing card at vending machines in the libraries for $5.00. Instructions on how to use the printing system are printed on the back of the cards. Visitor card vending machines are located in the following areas of Regenstein Library:
-
Ex Libris Cafe vending machines.
-
A-Level vending area.
Visitors must log in to the Printing Web Portal to submit print jobs using the PIN number located on the card; they can access any of the Library’s printers by selecting the ‘ID number’ on the printer's user interface screen and authenticating with the PIN number to release print jobs.
Visitors may also use Library printers to scan at no cost by entering their PIN. Once the value on a printing card has been used, visitors will need to purchase a new card. Cards with no remaining value can continue to be used for scanning.
Please note: devices must be on the University network or connected to the UChicago cVPN to access the printing web portal.
