Getting Started: How to Log In

For access to Oracle, visit oracle.uchicago.edu, where you can log into the system selecting Log In from the Oracle Cloud ERP box and entering your CNET ID and UChicago password.

Note: Prior to receiving Oracle access, new hires must complete Workday onboarding to get access into Oracle. Contingent workers must be added to Workday by their HR Business Partner.

In order to update access to Oracle, employees should consult their Role Assignment Owner, who will complete the Access Request form on the employee’s behalf based on the required access for their role and responsibilities. To find your Role Assignment Owner, review this list.

Any Oracle training assigned to you can be found in Workday Learning. Training sessions are assigned based on the work you will perform in Oracle and Orbit. Access Workday Learning online to view the courses assigned to you and to enroll in them.

Role Assignment Owners are designated unit members responsible for determining system and reporting access for each individual in their unit. If you have questions regarding your role-based training, please contact your unit's primary Role Assignment Owner.

Faculty and Principal Investigators Training
UChicago faculty are the lifeblood of the University, and our role-based faculty trainings are designed to ensure the success of the University’s ongoing adoption of Oracle and transition to our new financial system.
Below is a list of the FST role-based trainings offered to UChicago faculty. Faculty are encouraged to sign up for the trainings relevant to their work in Workday Learning.
University Staff Training
UChicago staff are embedded throughout the University’s academic and business units to support our institutional mission—including UChicago’s central Finance and Administration staff, who serve a variety of areas. Expectations for administrative staff vary by unit, and each staff member's role-based training is designed for the unique business roles for which they are responsible.
