Training By Role
- All UsersRecommended training for anyone who needs to buy something at the University. All full-time, benefits-eligible staff automatically have Oracle access to create purchase requests.
- Faculty and PostdocsRecommended training to help faculty and postdocs learn the basics of Oracle and Orbit.
- Staff and StudentsRecommended training for staff and students who need to learn the basics of Oracle and Orbit.
- Operational Finance LeadersRequired training for users responsible for managing the finances of their unit, including budgeting and financial reporting.
- Research/Project Finance LeadersRequired training for users who manage research funding, including budgeting and financial reporting for research portfolios.
- Central University UsersRequired training for users in central units who need to understand how to use Oracle and Orbit effectively, including how data is entered and processed.
- PlanningRequired training for users who support budgeting and forecasting activities and need to understand how planning data is entered, reviewed, and managed in the system.
