What is HR Next?

HR Next is an exciting campuswide initiative designed to reimagine the University of Chicago’s Human Resources organization and enhance our processes and service delivery model to better support all UChicago faculty, staff, and student employees. This project gives every member of the HR community the opportunity to help transform our organizational model, structure, and strategy, with the goal of providing more integrated and streamlined services across campus.

To support this effort, we have partnered with Segal to help us:

  1. Redefine the UChicago HR strategy and vision

  2. Reimagine the HR service delivery model

  3. Redesign and enhance HR processes and technologies

  4. Increase transparency through a comprehensive communications strategy
