2027 Benefits Open Enrollment

November 2 - November 16, 2026
Open Enrollment is your once-a-year opportunity to select the combination of benefits that are right for you and your family for the upcoming calendar year - whether that is making changes to your current coverage or enrolling in coverage for the first time. Beginning November 2, 2026, and ending November 16, 2026, you will be able to add, change or remove coverage from your current benefit plans by logging into your Workday account at workday.uchicago.eduOpens in new tab and completing the Open Enrollment task found in your inbox. Any new elections and all changes will become effective January 1, 2027 and continue through December 31, 2027.
With the exception of Life Insurance, Long-Term Disability and HSA elections, no additional changes will be permitted before 2028, unless you experience a qualified life change event.

FLU VACCINATION CLINICS
A flu vaccination clinic provided by UChicago Student Wellness, in collaboration with the Benefits Office, will be held during the Benefits and Health Fair on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at Ida Noyes Hall, 1212 E. 59th Street, Chicago, IL. Can't make it to the Benefits Fair? You may also receive your flu vaccine with these alternative options. Eligibility is dependent on your medical plan.
